As the Small Business reporter for Peoria’s Examiner.com, I am creating a new series called Life After Downsizing. CNN has ranked Peoria as the fifth best small to mid-sized city for opening a small business. I want to look at why from the viewpoint of those who have made it so.
You are invited to an open forum at Lakeview Library from 10 am to noon on Tuesday, December 8, to share your experience with the world. Share your website and your a link to your business may be included in the series.
If you know someone who has insight to share, please let them know and RSVP to judy@judyrosellaedwards.com or to the Facebook event.
Business coaches and others involved with Small Business in Peoria are encouraged to attend and share, as well.
The most important thing any writer will ever pen is their own author’s biography. It is a brief story about you — and you have to write it!
If you are submitting work for publication, either in hardcopy or digital format, you should be submitting your author’s biography. It should already be posted on your website. You should distribute it as often as you can.
If you haven’t written your bio, it’s time to correct that.
The book The Cluetrain Manifesto: The End of Business as Usual will be required.
Class begins Saturday, February 28, 2008.
Cost: $12.00 (click on the category tab and change it from eBook to I.Can.Do.This on the payment page). You will receive a registration ticket download, followed by an email verifying enrollment.
